Floor is finally done!

I'm very happy.  I was able to finish the installation of the floor and firewall this week.  This seemed to take forever.  So many welds and grinding and taking it in and out for fitting etc.  Had to take the car off the cart and put in back onto the frame 3 times to ensure everything was lined up correctly.  However, its finally done and came out great.  Here, take a look at it.

Still needs to be sanded and painted but will do that after I finish the package tray replacement as they all blend together.

One good think happened.  I got a new welder.  After visiting Jessica I met one of her friends and he was a professional welder in his job.  I got to talking to him as he has an interest in cars also and is restoring a Mustang.  I told me the welder I have is very inferior to whats available and I would be way more satisfied with my welding if I upgraded.  I told me what to get and I got it.  I am so amazed at the ease of use of this welder and how easy it is to make a good looking and strong weld.  I am very happy I did this and got it before I welded the floor in.

Its a Millermatic 211i.

I have been buying a lot of parts because I am nearing the end of the body restoration process and will be starting to install parts soon.  My storage area is getting full.  We also have parts in the attic, the computer room, the living room and under two beds.

This is the storage area with my car in there also.

Next is the trunk floor and package tray area.  And with Lee here next week I'll have some help to start working on the frame.
