Here's my schedule to complete

I was wondering how far along I am.  Thought I'd rough out a schedule and see how close I come to it.

Today is December 10th

3rd Week December 2023 - Finish the exhaust and fuel system.  Waiting for parts for the fuel pump.

4th Week December 2023 -  Install the front end of the car with the radiator support, radiator, wheel wells, battery tray, stone deflector.  I may have to actually do a final paint jog on the stone deflector as it is really hard to disassemble later for painting.

1st Week January 2024 - Mock up the rest of the front end.  Two fenders, Grill header.  I will also attempt to repair the rust on the drivers fender and remove a dent.  Then the fenders and grill header will be sanded, epoxied and ready for paint prep.  Paint prep comes later and involved sanding again, filling dents, smoothing panels, priming and sanding several more times with high build primer that fills in sand scratches.  When that is done a sealer is applied and then final paint can occur.

2nd Week January 2024 - Complete the work in the trunk.  Sanding and priming.  Weld in the new trunk hinges.  Hopefully I can get to sanding and priming the trunk lid also.  We will also be taking a day to drive to Charlotte NC to pick up the hood and bumpers and windshield.  Not sure when this will be but it will get fit in somewhere.

3rd Week January 2024 - Complete the installation of the power steering system and bleed in preparation of starting the engine.  Connect the radiator and mock up 1 fan.

4th Week January 2024 -  Mock up the installation of the engine computer.  Fill engine and transmission with all fluids.  I will also mock-up the start button.  Then I will configure the EFI system(engine computer), start the car and burn in the CAM.  Burn in involves running the engine a d 2000+ RPM for 20 minutes.  Then immediately disassemble the computer.  Need to know if the engine will run while its easy to get back out.

5th Week January 2024 - At this point the car is mocked up with the trunk lid, front fenders that have black epoxy on them.  Now I'll go get the doors and mock them up and then sand and epoxy them.  The only thing without epoxy on it is the main body at this point and the car is all put back together.

1st Week February 2024 - I begin sanding the old paint off the main body.  Then are many major dents in this area and I will repair the major ones at this time.  Then the main body will be epoxied black like the rest of the car.  All the black epoxy needs to be re sanded and final body prep done as described above.

2nd Week February 2024 - Continuation of above.

3rd Week February 2024 - I will do the final body work on the main body at this time.  This is in preparation for when Lee comes down to help me paint it.  My goal when she is here is to complete the painting of only the main body.  This gets the main body ready to paint with a lot of leeway so it this schedule gets mucked up I will still be ready to paint when Lee comes.

4th Week February 2024 - At this point I know all the body parts will go back together correctly as they are all mocked up.  This week I will disassemble the mocked up parts as they will be painted off the car.  Once disassembly complete I will work on the trunk lid to prepare for final paint on both sides.  Any of these panels that I get done before Lee gets here we can try to paint when shes here.

1st Week March 2024 - I will do final paint prep on the two doors.

2nd Week March 2024 - I plan to do the final prep work on the front fenders and the header panel.

3rd Week March 2024 - Final paint prep on the hood.

4th Week March 2024 - At this point the entire car is ready for painting.  Looks like we will be able to do as many panels as Lee has time for when she comes.  I can easily finish and small panels we don't get to when she leaves.  So this week I'm leaving with not tasked worked on.  This will either be a vacation or a catch-up week.

1st Week April 2024 - Now I'm just waiting for Lee.  In the meantime I will work on the headliner this week.  This will include running the wiring for the Dome Light.

2nd Week April 2024 - Install the wiper motor and wiper transmission.

3rd Week April 2024 -  Fabricate radiator shroud and install fans

4th Week April 2024 - This is when we will begin the final paint job.  At minimum the main body will get painted and polished, hopefully more will get done.

1st Week May 2024 - Finish the paint work.

2nd Week May 2024 - Begin re-installing the painted panels.

3rd Week May 2024 - Complete installing the painted panels.

4th Week May 2024 - Begin wiring the car.  This will be a 3 to 4 week project.

1st Week June 2024 - Wiring and construct relay panel and master control panel.

2nd Week June 2024 - Wiring

3rd Week June 2024 - Probably vacation around here sometime

4th Week June 2024 - Vacation and some wiring

1st Week July 2024 - Dash Install and complete wiring in dash

2nd Week July 2024 - Complete AC installation/Heater installation

3rd Week July 2024 - Re-install EFI system

4th Week July 2024 - Install security system

1st Week August 2024 - Hood lights and trunk lights

2nd Week August 2024 - Grill and Headlight installation

3rd Week August 2024 - At this point the front end of the car is done.  I will probably buy the tires and install the new wheels and tires.  May be some work leveling the car and getting the right rack.  May have to cut the front springs.

4th Week August 2024 - Front End Alignment.  May install a seat temporarily to do a read test.  Adjustments, adjustments, adjustments.

1st Week September 2024 - Start working on the interior of the car with sound proofing, carpet, seat belts.

4th Week September 2024 - Install windows and door panels

1st Week October 2024 - Continued from above

2nd Week October 2024 - Start building the console

3rd Week October 2024 - Paint and Install console

4th Week October 2024 - Install sound system and kick panels.

1st Week November 2024 - Bumpers

At this point I think the car is done.  I won't let it leave here until we can get 500 miles on it to work out all the bugs.  Then we will have to figure out when and how to get it up to NH.  Be nice to get it there before snow falls.

I am hoping the plan has a lot of slack in it so maybe I will get done sooner but I think this is worst case.  As I'm looking at this there will be some weeks that get moved around for convience or so I can work what I feel like working.  I will try to maintain this somehow, maybe with a monthly update.
