Interior Continued

OK, I have the interior qtr panels in finally and the front door panels.  More work needs to be done on the door panels but I'll get to that later.

I also have the backseat in and not shown the kick panels and front speakers are in.

I have been having a lot of issues with the Start button and have replaced it once but still not working to my liking.  So I purchased another system from the Chinese and actually appears to work pretty well.  Reviews were good it just have lower amp relays so I am adding an external high amp relay on one circuit that is used most.  That will go in in a couple days.

I went over to storage and picked up the console and radio yesterday and am starting to work on those.  As usual, its quite difficult figuring how to get the horseshoe shifter installed so it looks professional.  Got to make some mods in the fiberglass to do it but its all fun work.

Has some issues with the engine that some experts told me was related to the start button but as usual they were wrong.  I was at a point where everyone was sure I had to remove the engine but its all figured out now and was just a timing issue that we cannot figure out how it was caused but seems just coinsidental.  Alls well now.

I expect the console to take a couple weeks then I need to paint it.  I think we decided on black paint correct?  I'm asking here because I want to know it anyone reads this.

  1. Yes I am reading this and yes I believe black. The darn engine what a sad thing but sounds like it is figured out.

    1. I thought I deleted the post about the engine but maybe you looked at it too quickly. It is fixed but I am having a lot of trouble with the Start Button and am about to swap it out for the second time with a new system that works great on the bench and hopefully will once installed.
